"Scotcheroos"















"Scotcheroos"
Ingredients:
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Corn Syrup
1 Cup of Peanut Butter
6 Cups Rice Krispies
2 Cups Chocolate Chips
1. Boil sugar and corn syrup.
2. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in Peanut Butter
4. Add Rice Crispies.
5. Transfer and press into buttered 9×13 pan.
6. Melt chocolate chips in microwave (30 second intervals, stirring in between). Spread melted chocolate mixture over Rice Crispies mixture.

Allow to cool until chocolate has hardened.(or put in the fridge for faster results :)

* I think the original recipe combines the chocolate with 1 cup of butterscotch morsels, but we aren't big on butterscotch so we leave it out and there is still plenty of chocolate topping for the krispies.  Give it a try if you'd like though!

  2. Yeah I think so, although I believe she does add the butterscotch.
